When I first moved to Denver, I stopped by Country Fair Garden Center in search of fresh soil for my orchid and a large pot of pretty seasonal assorted plants for my balcony. Everyone in the store was so helpful and the plants, though supposedly all seasonal, persisted for *years*.

Recently I called the store to ask if they bought plants from individuals as I had three potted plants to sell. Gavin, the store manager, said he had a friend who might be interested and he put me in contact with her. She came by the next day to purchase my plants, and I'm thrilled to know that my plants are going to a far better "plant mom" than I am! I'm so grateful to her as well as to Gavin for helping me far more than I expected. All of my interactions with this store have been positive, informational, and it's clear the people who work there genuinely have passion for plants and gardening. I can't recommend Country Fair enough as the #1 go-to in the Denver area for all plant/gardening needs.

I come here every year for petunias and one geranium to decorate my balcony. They are the healthiest flowers and the prettiest ones in town. I especially love the black ones.
The people are real nice and I'm planning on getting some decorative pots in the near future. I highly recommend this place.

This plant nursery and garden supply store has been a favor of mine since 1989. Back then Country Fair was on S. Colorado Blvd. and it was fun just to go & window shop. Gardening is my hobby.
I empathized when a big developer came in and bought a large chunk of land on S. Colorado Boulevard and a number of businesses were displaced. I was so glad when Country Fair found a new location further east & reopened.
Treat yourself go in & shop the annuals, the perennials, the shrubs, the flower pots, metal, glass and ceramic garden decor. Plus there are all the supplies you need to keep an organic garden.
Most of all whoever assists you, waits on you or advises you, you won’t feel ignored or stupid.
Shop locally, shop American, and be happy!
P.S. The attached video is of the 30-year-old Shrub Rose I maintain in my backyard. This year, 2024 it bloomed for one month & over 150 blossoms opened up.

I have bought several plants and flowers from this nursery. Very disappointed in my last purchase. Spent $100 on two flowers and both died within a week of purchase. I took care of them exactly how I was instructed by the nursery staff at the time of purchase. Watered them every day exactly how the salesperson instructed. Very upset. Will not shop here again. See photos.

This same sales person told me to text him with pictures of another plant I had questions about. I did and never received a response. You would think that when you’ve had a history of being a good client that you would also be valued. Not here. Better service and client appreciation at Home Depot.

Wonderful first time shopping experience. Everyone was kind, helpful and not pushy if you want to just wander around and browse. They have a *massive* variety of pots, many many beautiful options. All of the plants looked healthy and happy!

Our new favorite spot for garden supplies and houseplants. Prices are fair - you might get more for your money at Home Depot or Lowe's but we prefer the selection here. The employees here are a wealth of knowledge and eager to assist- we learned all about parlor palms and jade plants and picked up several gardening tips while standing in the checkout line.

I haven’t shopped here since probably right before the pandemic, but I found myself missing the shop today. I bought so many plants, holders, and supplies here and the staff was always very helpful and friendly. They even consulted on how and when to repot and shared their expertise with a novice. Just had a waaaay less than stellar experience across the country at a totally different place, and it took me aback because Country Fair had raised my expectations so high! I miss this place, and hope y’all are thriving.
