Personally, I loved all of the rustic charm and decorations! I love all the wood accents! It was definitely an experience. Alice, the cat, is fiesty and vocal, but we loved her! She was the best part of the whole stay. Layla, the dog, led us on the tour around the property. We were inspired to sing the Layla song with her there. There was a 3 day old baby goat I got to hold! The shower felt amazing after a long day of exploring. My husband loved the detailed, antique chess set. No one else used the hot tub at night, so we relaxed and saw stars for miles. Darcy and Gina were fun to talk to at breakfast. I know it is a working farm, so Gina is very busy. When she gets a chance to sit and chat, she does. Darcy makes amazing caramel macchiatos! If you love word puzzles, that is Gina’s jam! She will team up with you in the daily NY Times word puzzle.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Mountain Goat Lodge! The delicious custom breakfasts and coffee were a highlight, and we truly enjoyed the warm and engaging conversations with the hosts. Their recommendations were spot on, making our trip even better. The breathtaking views from our room, the peaceful trail, and the sweet dogs and cat added a special charm to our stay. The hot tub at night was the perfect way to unwind. We can't wait to visit again—thank you for such a memorable experience!

I just stayed here driving through with my wife, baby and dog. The hosts were very receptive and kind. The room was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was fantastic. I was served farm fresh eggs and the most delicious biscuit I’ve ever eaten. It was worth the stay just for the breakfast. The only caveat was that it’s right next to a busy road. Although I couldn’t hear the traffic from my room.

We stayed in the Princeton room and we had an amazing view of sunset. Honestly it was so pretty we just waited there until the sun went down fully before going to dinner. The family who run this place really put in a lot of love and care into all the do. The animals are all so friendly and breakfast is amazing!! Highly recommend you stop here to relax and unwind.

Very therapeutic and relaxing. It felt like being home and the scenery, amazing! Hosts, goats, and meals incredible! Gina and Darcy are excellent owners and very accommodating to their guests. I loved the morning breakfasts (delicious) and especially getting to know the other guests as well. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth the stay. I miss the goats already!

The animals and scenery are the best. The breakfasts they serve are some of the best you will ever have! Location is convenient for all activities
The rooms are relaxing and comfortable with nice views. We will be back!

What a wonderful experience. The breakfast was extremely good. The rooms are clean and quiet. The biggest plus was the ability to travel with our dogs. I would for sure stay here again.
