Happy hour brunch is AMAZING here! The Blackened Ahi Tataki is one of the most DELICIOUS meals I have ever devoured! Definitely one of the best dishes on their menu! I also had a Bloody Mary oyster shooter with pepper vodka which added a whole new layer of flavor. I also had the classic biscuits and gravy, with clam chowder soup! My meal was finished with their Bloody Mary, which was packed with flavor! One of the owners, Mimi, was walking around talking to patrons, even us! It was lovely getting to know her, how Trestles became to be, and why she continues to run Trestles. They have art on their walls for sale from so many artists!

Update 2/2/25 - They have new menus! A lot of their staples and new stuff! Still the same delicious place! Been loving their Avacado Lox for brunch and Oyster shooter!

This was a super disappointing experience. The drinks are poor quality. For this price range there should be house made syrups and mixers, but everything is premade and cheap. The cocktails are not at all balanced.

We ordered a mix of appetizers & entrees to share and everything came out at once. We had to either rush to eat it or it everything would get cold. This should never happen.

The food was meh. About what I would expect from a chain restaurant at half the price point. The flavor of the tacos was good, but the fish was dry. The crab cake in the sliders was good, but there was little flavor, and the filet mignon was dry. It was cooked properly, medium rare, but was still dry.

She took about 10 minutes to ask how everything was, which is way too long, and I expressed concern about everything coming out at once. She said sorry, but did nothing to fix the situation.

This place is fine, but for the price point it was very disappointing.

Had an excellent seafood brunch in Castle Rock. Coming from California, I wasn't expecting to find a great seafood restaurant in the Rocky Mountains. This place is a gem. The Maryland Benedict was delicious, The pave cake was a little more dense than I expected, but still tasted very good.

Met friends for brunch today. First, the food was soooo good and the service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Got to meet the owners as they are involved. This was my first time there and it won't be my last. I highly recommend giving it a try!

My family and I were visiting from Miami, FL. This was our first visit to Colorado, and I can honestly say that our experience at Trestles makes every other restaurant experience that I’ve had feel subpar! If you’re in Colorado this is a MUST EAT. Trestles offered us an incredible blend of both exquisite food, and impeccable service, with incredible attention to detail. Blake was our waiter and he was AMAZING! He made us feel so welcomed and excited to dine! He was enthusiastic and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Trestles has a beautiful coastal ambiance; I would give this restaurant way more then 5 stars if I could. We were craving seafood and boy, the seafood did not disappoint. It was so FRESH!!! Our family left raving about the food and commenting on how it was the best restaurant we’d eaten on our entire trip. We can’t wait to come back to Colorado, and believe me, we’ll be coming back for the food at Trestles! Thank you for such a wonderful experience and memory! We would 100% recommend and have already told ALL our friends and family!

I went there during happy hour and all the food was delicious! We ordered 4 items from the small plates section and a wedge salad. The wedge salad used butter lettuce instead of iceberg. We got the house oysters and specialty oysters and both were really good. The combo grits had a nice smoky flavor to it. So in the order I liked most to least: Brussels and Shishitos, Sea Scallop BLT, combo Grits, Blackened Ahi Tataki.
Nov 2022 update: I haven't been back since Sept, they have a new menu! Lots to try! I had there special but unfortunately the fish I had hurt my throat. More than half the skate fish tasted like ammonia. It's the type of fish that needs to be cleaned within hours of catching and then when prepped it needs to be treated specially for it.
May 2024 update: The last time I have been here was my last update where I hurt my throat. It's taken about 2 years for it not to be a problem in my daily work life which means I have not eaten out as much to help my throat heal. I just start going back to Trestles and the food is still amazing. I've gone to brunch twice and happy hour after work. Brunch was amazing, I had the Maryland Benedict once and the other time was during brunch happy hour and I had the banana bread French toast. They had a lot of great dishes for their normal happy hour. Some which is not part of the regular menu. We tried a couple of the sliders and it was really good. Taste and texture is well balanced in majority of the dishes I have had tried.
