I've been working with, Volunteering for and interning with Food to Power for the last 4 years, figured it was time to write a review! I have watched Food to Power grow and evolve a lot, but the thing that has always remained the same, are the lovely people. If you are in need of food absolutely come here, I can recommend this place with 100% confidence! You will be treated with respect, supported, and receive food, education and resources you need. Colorado Springs is lucky to have Food to Power, and the wonderful food based community they have created!

Its great to have an opportunity to get food when you are in need. Unfortunately now that Sean is no longer there its absolute chaos. It used to be first come, first serve now its whoever smooth talks the chick in charge gets in and they don't seem to have any limits on pickings either.

So, shine up your schmoozing skills or expect extremely slim pickings even if you came early and signed in.

Thanks to everyone who donates to the place. Shame it has become a clique for select people.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Fresh grown on-site veggies. Staff is very proud of the food they are providing. Just a great place to get food not usually available in most food pantries. I was very impressed and will make them a preferred stop when I need that extra food to make ends meet. They don't ask for ID or referrals and don't treat you like you're a charity .

This place is such a humongous blessing to my family. We have hit some tight times financially and every time I go I get such an amazing variety of food that helps me provide amazing and unique meals to my family despite not having a lot of money. Because of the variety of produce and other items, I am also learning to be a way more versatile and creative cook for my family, making magic happen with what you have instead of breaking the bank. The staff is so wonderful loving and kind and also give you cool new recipe tips with the food they provide. I could spend so long saying amaZing this about this place. THANKYOU!! God bless you!!
