sustainability focused, small business. I love that my kids run out of body wash or shampoo and ask to go refill it, instead of chucking the bottle and heading to the big box store. Keep up the awesome work!!!

I am so incredibly happy that I found this place! The owner is incredibly nice and helpful. The process of coming in to refill my laundry soap, hand soap, lotion, etc. is so easy and convenient. The shower steamers are amazing and the eucalyptus ones are especially nice when allergies or colds hit. I highly recommend these for yourself or even as part of a gift. As Earth Day approaches in April please try to stop and support this amazing local store!

Happened upon The Source Zero when taking a stroll through town this spring! They promote tons of local art, sell sustainable products, and have many eco-friendly items at affordable prices! This gem offers so many trinkets and zero-waste opportunities that are easy to implement into your everyday life. The staff are so sweet, they maintain great conversation while sharing incredibly helpful information on their products. Soaps, canvas/mesh bags, cute little gifts, aesthetic handmade cards, and tons more! Stop by sometime and check them out, you won’t regret it!

Recently purchased our own containers and stocked up on shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Quality products at a discounted rate (compared to purchasing new bottles every time). We will be back!!

It's great to have a zero-waste store in this little town. Sometimes it feels like no one else cares as much as I do about making changes for the planet, but stores like this give me hope. I was able to buy bar soap, bamboo toilet paper, a reusable q-tip, and toothpaste bits, and all of it supported Berthoud and a small business instead of Amazon. I look forward to seeing what else they will offer in the future, and I'm excited that they just started offering my favorite Blueland laundry detergent tabs (now I don't have to wait on shipping)!

I noticed 'The Source Zero' sign when meeting my work colleagues at the cafe next door. I was greeted by the store owner, Nikole, who provided a quick introduction to her available inventory and a brief store history. After brunch, I brought my work colleagues back into Nikoles store with more questions about sustainability and chemical free homes.

It's nice to visit a grass-roots business that presents a modern holistic approach to zero waste products and resources while also supporting local artisan products. There are only a handful of zero waste stores available along the Front Range, but in time, resources like Nikoles store, will help influence all of us to make more sustainable choices regarding safer household/cosmetic supplies and grocery items.

I purchased a few things I've been wanting to buy/try for years. Prices are affordable and I'd say most of the stores reusable items look durable and could even be considered as 'Buy it for life' items.

Living in Boulder, I will be passing through Berthoud a couple times a month and plan to keep this as a shopping destination to help support local producers and reduce my waste.

This is a wonderful shop both for environmentally friendly gifts - think handmade locally produced soaps, lotions, kitchen items, makeup... - as well as a one stop shop to refill all manner of detergents and cleaners thereby keeping plastics out of the landfills. A gem of a shop, centrally located in downtown Berthoud - a great addition to a quaint community!
