Out of all the soils I have tried, Sohum has been the best. I’ve spent 3 years testing different soils varying from fox farms, and roots organic to various local soils, and bagged organic soils from Lowe’s and Home Depot. For the price, you cannot beat your companies soil, atleast in my opinion. I will definitely be purchasing more for my outdoor garden, and my indoor set up next year. Thank you for your hard work in creating this awesome product! Keep up the good work! ❤️🙏

Best soil I have Ever used. I was willing to pay shipping, which is very expensive, just to have the best shot at the best harvest. Soil is just one component of a good crop. The right lighting is important. The temperature of your grow room is important. Water levels are important.
I have had nothing but success with SoHum. If you have had problems with your crop, look at some of the other variables. It's not easy to go from seed to harvest. A lot of care and attention go into a successful harvest, in my humble opinion.

Slogan "Just add water!" Great soil from seed to harvest. Make sure you follow easy instructions on back of bag or online! They have 2 different types. First is for gardens or Cannabis. The 2nd is made for Cannabis, it is a little expensive, but there is no need for adding nutrients! it will save you money in the long run. I used to make my own soil for my grow and for other grows that I worked with. I only recommend this soil!!! Great people!!! Fast Service!!! Great results!!

I LOVE Sohum Living Soil! Gave it only 4 stars though because I feel as though the watering practices should be printed onto the bag. I unfortunately washed out all my nutrients. I googled proper watering and couldn’t find anything special for Sohum, so I watered until 20% runoff and then got rid of all runoff...I am new to growing (2 total) and brand new with Living Soil, so for those newbies like me out there, complete printed instructions on how to water, besides just keeping it moist, would be VERY beneficial. It dries out a little too fast, and definitely compacts a bit after top watering. I have found that mixing roughly 30% of Happy Frog soil to 70% Sohum greatly reduces the drying rate and stops the soil from compacting. But, then that leaves the pot with 30% less nutrients that the plant needs so figure out what your needs are. Other than that, I have no other complaints. During Veg, I TRIED to do a side by side grow with Happy Frog. It was all one sided, Sohum left the HF plants choking in it’s dust. The HF plants got so far behind I transplanted them into Sohum as soon as it was safe to repot again. The Sohum representatives have been amazing. I have emailed them consistently with questions on plant and soil health, ways to amend/stretch the Sohum Soil a little farther, anything you ask, they always seem to go above and beyond to answer all my questions. They are also extremely fast on replying. The only business that has responded to me in such a timely manner. Most times, they respond to me within the hour I send my first email. That is the reason I chose Sohum over other soils, they took the time to help. They seem to genuinely care how well their product preforms, instead of how much more money they can get someone to spend.

A completely horrendous experience is all I can say. I first used this company over a year ago. I didn't have great success so I changed method and moved on. However back in January of this year whilst visiting the Indo/Expo convention in Denver I ran into the SoHum stand. I decided to chat with the guys and discuss my previous experience, just in case there was anything I could've done better. I had a really good conversation with Elis, who holds a senior position within the company. He gave me some good pointers and as it turned out I was primarily responsible for poor results the previous year. Kindly Elis said that if I'd like to give the product another go he'd be more than happy to do 5 - 6 bags at cost price. He wanted me to see the true benefit and results of using the SoHum product. So, fast forwarding to this week. I take a drive to Denver on Monday to find out they are closed for 4th July holiday. This is despite no mention of closure on either Google or their Facebook page. Today I ring first just to be sure they are open and speak to Steven. I explain the situation to him and he agrees to give a 25% discount on my order. Back to Denver I go. Upon arrival Steven hands me a leaflet with SoHums tips and best practice. He tells me they've added this to help customers. On the back I happen to notice a coupon code offering 25% off next order. It's at this point things really start going downhill. I mention to Steven what Elis had said at the convention, to which he replied that Elis wasn't in the office today. So I asked if he could be contacted to confirm our conversation. Steven's reply was "you have his card?". I said no and asked if he'd mind calling as it was his co worker? Things then become slightly awkward. Steven shuffles some paper and gives and excuse as to why Elis can't be contacted. I then mention the fact that Elis had offered me a bespoke deal based on my previous experience and all that he (Steven) had done had applied a general discount which was available to anyone with the leaflet. Steven's attitide quickly becomes rude and baulchy. He quite angrily states that he had not stated the leaflet with the 25% discount was available to just anyone, instead select customers. I queried this but again was met with an extremely distasteful attitude. At this point I ask if there is anyone more senior who can maybe rectify the situation. Steven walks off saying he is going to speak with the CEO. 5 minutes later he returns with a similar line - "25% is already fair and the best we can do". Highly unsatisfied, I ask why I was told one thing by Elis and now a completely different thing here at the store. He quotes a stock response of "misinformation". In hindsight I wonder if that misinformation had anything to do with the amount of beer that was flowing at the convention? I ask him if customers are important to the company, which he agrees they are. Clearly frustrated,
Steven does literally nothing to help appease the situation, not even so much of an apology.
The thing that gets me is that this company were more than happy to give away feet of dirt at the convention for free. Why the reluctance to help an exisiting customer and follow through on your word? I was only looking for 14 bags. You could've even agreed to honour the 6 original bags and discount the remainder. But no, no interest. Yet as Steven say's you care about your customers right?! Save to say, I exited the store highly extremely frustrated by both the appalling and rude attitude that Steven exhibited and the complete shambles that appears to be SoHum soil. I've since gone to Innovative Organics, also based in Denver who have been very helpful and conducted business as I expect - professionally and with customers at their core. I'd stay away from SoHum if I were you. Whilst I can't give a reliable review on their soil, I think the rest speaks for itself. Customer Beware!
