When the box stores started running out of ground beef, we decided to go local and try buying some in bulk. We ordered 20 lb. of ground beef (was on sale) from Sangres Best and just cooked up the first batch as burgers for the family last night. After taking the first bite, several of us noticed and commented on how the flavor was NOTICEABLY better than any other ground beef we'd had before. The quality of this beef is absolutely fantastic, and now we're talking about ordering a quarter or half a cow later this year as soon as we can work it into the budget.

We ordered a 20lb box of the ground beef. It comes ready to go in easy 1lb packages. Tastes better than anything I have bought in the store. It is local Colorado Beef. Super easy pickup. Everyone was very nice. Love being able to support a local Ranch.

We purchased the 40 pound bargain box. We have grilled two of the selections this week. AMAZING quality beef. Both the flat iron steak and the burger patties only needed salt. Nothing else. So pleased to have found Sangres Beef. We will continue to purchase our beef from this local ranch. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I can’t say anything other than this is the best beef I’ve ever tasted. When I open a package I don’t smell sulfur or whatever that dreadful odor is with mass production beef. Letting these girls roam around like nature intended at the end of their lives makes for tender extremely tasty beef. We have eaten nothing but their beef for over two years and I’ll never buy anything else. Love these guys and will place my third order this year.

Since having a child 16 months ago, I've become more aware of the need to eat good quality, organic and sustainably sourced foods. I've also tried to focus on local products as well as supporting small businesses. Upon deciding to source local meat, I started doing an extensive amount of research. I decided to give Sangres Best a try for beef. WOW is all there is to say! I was first drawn to Sangres Best for a number of reasons - grass finished, environmental consciousness, business acumen, and so on. Once I actually tried the beef, there was no going back.... I first bought a freezer teezer and signed up for a 1/4 summer beef then upped it to 1/2 and finally decided to just get a whole to give as early Christmas presents to our son's daycare staff as well as friends and family. My husband thought I'd gone mad when I told him. HOWEVER, he was also sold once he tried the beef. He actually said, "I'm sold." I think he is even more excited then I am about the whole cow. He brags to our friends, family and his coworkers about us getting A WHOLE COW that "is this amazing, grass-finished beef" 🙂 It has literally become the main topic of discussion aside from our son! In addition to great beef and a well run business, the customer service provided by Lacie, Elin and co. is off the charts! Just give it a try - I would bet my next paycheck you will not be disappointed!

I served filet mignon purchased from Sangres Best to my family this past week. What a treat! The steaks were like butter. The cows are grass fed and grass finished and it really does taste so much better than grocery store beef.

I just picked up a box of the hamburger and 20 pounds of the skirt steak. I grilled hamburgers last night and the burgers were beyond excellent. Perhaps the best burger I ever had. Ordered another box right away. I am marinating 3 lbs. of the skirt steak for carne asada tonight. I expect it to be just as amazing as the hamburger. We recently purchased 20# of ground beef after it became impossible to find at our area grocery stores! My mom used to split a half a cow with us years ago and I had forgotten how much better grass fed beef is! Once we buy a freezer we will be purchasing more meat!
