Let's start with the bad so I can build them back up.
The serving staff IS great, but they were SUPER overworked. I counted 2 servers, each running around like crazy to cover everyone, with one bus boy. I noticed a lot of the people who entered after me having to wait upwards of 15 minutes for one of the servers to be able to get to them.
Aside from this, I have no complaints.
The food was DELICIOUS, and it came out quickly and was fresh, none of it was under a heat lamp for an hour. The restaurant was clean, they had numerous football games on, and the place was abuzz with content customers. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. The long wait wasn't so bad that it ruined things, but that's why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, because it won't let me give them 4.5 stars. Totally worth the stop!

Everything is great here, late night food options, drinks, and a laid-back vibe. The only problem they have this girl bartender with black hair kinda has an attitude but then super nice to others. I was just sitting by myself at the bar.She really didn't give me too much problem, but definitely had a little attitude. Then I see her be super nice to some other people and then go around and be kind of rude to others. I heard her laughing at some guy was trying to order, and he had a stutter, and I thought that was low class.

I’ve been coming to Zane’s for over two years now and was taken back by the disrespect I was treated with Sunday night. It’s a shame that their food seams to be getting worse and their customer service skills have left the building. I’ve never been met with such unwarranted disrespect from their bartender before. I use to really enjoy coming to this bar after a long days work. I’m sorry to say I will be taking my business else where from now on.

My bartender, Charlotte, was absolutely fantastic! Happy, energetic, and quick! You can't go wrong here if you are looking for a great burger or bar food.

This Zane's Tavern is located within the beautiful Willits Town shopping center in Basalt. We normally eat at the Snowmass location, but we were in town, so we decided to stop by. The food at this location is just as good, and the restaurant is on the newer side. On another note, this whole Willits Town shopping center area is beautiful.

This place would be…. Fine…. But the barman is so douchey I felt uncomfortable. It’s a no from me 👎🏽

Was hoping for a decent lunch after a bike ride. Place wasn't too busy but only 1 waitress, so service was slow. Took a long time for drinks and never asked about refills. Food was average. Bill came and we noticed pricing for cash had about a dollar discount. But for credit card it was more than DOUBLE. We asked the waitress and she suggested we pay cash. Kinda rude about it. Won't be going back. And glad we had cash!

The employees of this place are miserable, not friendly. I continue coming back to watch games, but knowing I have to deal with horrendous attitude. Food is good, but not that good..

UPDATE: our waitress, Amy, came to discuss this review with us. I appreciate that from her very much, and it goes a long way.

As was discussed, this review was more about a culmination of experiences, 5 or 6 visits starting last fall through football season - specifically that the bartenders were consistently unfriendly, rude, and uncaring. Tonight my wife and I came in for a major sports game (NBA playoffs, specifically the Nuggets which would be considered a local team) and frustrated that most of the first quarter was missed because the bartender acted bothered to change the TVs in a sports bar. Maybe a small thing, but smacks of service across many visits.

That said, because Amy spoke to us and hopefully this feedback is seen/shared, we will give it another go next time we are in town.
