We were really pleased Falcon Point. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Answered our questions with ease. A nice Continental breakfast was provided on Saturday. The condo we stayed in was well appointed with lots of resources, plates pots and pans and appliances. The only disappointment was that the pool and hot tub were both out of service and we stayed here with the hopes of enjoying these. It would have helped if we were advised that these weren't available and we may have chosen a different location. Regardless, we felt we had good value for money. Just didn't get to use all the amenities.

I chose Falcon Point based on price and location, and the "hotel" was very good in these two aspects. There's a town bus stop pretty much right outside the property. It's a 10-minute walk (in ski boots) to the town gondola to Beaver Creek. The price was excellent for a very pricy Avon. It was probably as low as you can find and relatively speaking, it was an excellent value.||There were two excellent surprises. They have an underground garage - super handy to avoid snowstorms and the cold. Parking is complimentary. The front-desk staff was amazing and super-attentive (esp Jenni).||The wifi worked very well for me. My unit had these fancy new appliances - there was a full-sized fridge, stove, dishwasher, and a fancy microwave. There's a comfy couch and a nice desk. Shower worked well. It's about 10-minute walk into town / restaurants. City Market and Walmart are too far away to walk imho.||It's not a hotel - there isn't someone around the clock, but this wasn't an issue for me. They make coffee in the morning (pretty good coffee actually) but no real milk / cream. Housekeeping kept the place tidy but they don't do daily service (which I don't want anyway). I had no problems checking in late (they'll send you instructions via email).||The room itself is small-ish but comfortable. It's not fancy but it's nice enough with a good sleep quality. The heat worked fine. The pool / clubhouse is in another building fyi (I didn't check it out). They have coin laundry, ski lockers, and vending machines. ||All in all, it's nothing fancy, but it's good for the price in Avon and a good base for skiing, if that's your thing.

We recently stayed in this lovely well-stocked hotel for several days. It was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Some highlights were the access to the walking path around the lake, great coffee in the morning, a beautiful hot tub and the delicious Monday evening barbecue.|We only had one issue during our stay and it was entirely our own fault. Joseph, one of the aforementioned Falcon Point staff jumped right in and assisted us quickly. Joseph, thank you so much for your help and we look forward to returning to Falcon Point and all your lovely and hardworking coworkers.

This is a really nice condo in a location next to the lake, playground and free shuttle stop. Restaurants and groceries are within walking distance. The staff is attentive, kind and present. Our studio was clean and we were grateful we could have the window open. It says the studios have full kitchens, but there is not a full size oven. I was able to cook a 8x8 homemade lasagna in the toaster oven with some extra time. The sheets and bed were really comfortable which we loved.

Loved all the biking and hiking we could do around there! Speaking of that... Some folks were not very kind in the garage with their bikes. This includes parking their bikes on the racks in a parallel fashion which prevented others from using it and moving other people's bikes around with no regard for how they were placed. The garage is a tough spot. I wouldn't want to take a super low clearance car down the ramp or park a long car down there, but folks have successfully done it. Don't have a bike rack on top if you want to use the garage.

The clubhouse is a nice place to hang out in, both inside and outside. They really keep the place up. We appreciated getting to borrow some decks of cards. Funny thing though is that there are faded signs that look like they once said alcohol not permitted beyond this spot. But now they are just pictures of alcohol. I overhead a kid say "why are there pictures of alcohol here" 😆
The sauna was not working when we arrived but was working when we left.

Would’ve given a higher review but our hot water didn’t work for our last night and the morning of our checkout. We realized so late that we didn’t want to bother anyone or change rooms. Breakfast was bad but that was to be expected. Great amenities though and great location.

The location, right on Nottingham Lake, next to great restaurants and cafes was awesome. The unit was stylishly decorated and well stocked with everything we needed.||The staff was crazy good, so committed to making sure we had a great stay.||When we booked a week through Interval International, I wish we'd been informed that the pool and hot tub would be closed for maintenance. That was the main reason we'd stay in Vail Valley during the off season. They did give us free passes to the rec center across the street, but that's not the same as spending the day by the pool, drink in hand (as I had imagined.)

It's pretty nice and clean not quite hotel but pretty much behaving like one that has a wonderful recreation area that includes pool and hot tub and pool table tennis table and more. I recommend this place

Don’t stay here if you like hot showers. The rooms are outdated and you share hot water heater with other rooms. There were only 2 of us and there was never enough hot water. The front desk supervisor was rude and unhelpful. She kept telling me she would update me and never called. Even on check in she had an attitude which stood out in a place where people are very friendly. I would’ve never stay here again and definitely do not recommend it.
