Checked this place out a couple days ago.. we REALLY wanted to love this place..the food I had was delicious. (I had the filet minion Colorado style -pictured) my husband had the ribeye which was skimpy. The prices are super expensive for not a ‘fancy’ restaurant. The server was unfortunately snarky and not very nice. It was loud and lively in there but children made a gross mess next to us and no one cleaned it up the whole time we sat there. What did it for me is the women’s bathroom - I can’t even explain how disgusting it was- overflowing toilet and used tp all over the ground - I couldn’t finish my meal bc of it. Super gross..my husband wrote a note on the bill regarding it so mgmt was aware .. don’t think we will be back

This is a hidden gem in Avon/ Beaver Creek area. Worth the drive down the hill from skiing for a hometown feel and good food. Mario, Rodney and JP made our night very special. Thank you for an amazing time!

Lovely breakfast where everything was cooked perfectly and the service was great. Tried the blueberry pancakes, French toast, yokel breakfast and eggs Benedict. Very large portions for everything. The owner was so kind and brought us donuts to try which were delicious and fluffy!

This was our third visit to this restaurant and it was definitely our best! The restaurant upped its game with a more sophisticated menu, excellent food quality, and a nicer atmosphere (we appreciate the white tablecloths). We dined with friends and all four appetizers and entrees were delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive, and fun! Sadly, we were all too full for dessert this time. We look forward to dining at Northside Kitchen again next time we're in town.

We have been to the area multiple times but managed to miss this gem. We finally went and it was better than I expected. My family loves food and great eaters so they said they would come back for sure. My daughter steaks cooked perfectly, my son black cod was divine and he even finished all his side veggies. All the appetizers we ordered were fast and delicious. Service is top notch!

This is THE place to go for apres ski happy hour after skiing Beaver Creek or Vail, offering $4 pints and $4 braised beef short rib tacos. The entire menu is great! They also are famous for their excellent breakfast, lunch, and fine evening dining!

In full transparency, I have never actually sat down in this restaurant, nor have I been in it for more than 15 minutes, as every time we visit, our mission is focused and singular: donuts. (sometimes, I get a coffee, but it's meh, diner coffee. Grab it if you need it.)

We've been coming to Vail Valley at least once a year for nearly a decade, and not a single trip goes without immediately stocking up on donuts from Northside Kitchen.

By 7:00 AM every morning, dozens of trays are set out with hundreds of perfectly shaped, crafted, and iced donuts—some of the best. Stop in to get one or stock up with a box (or two). You cannot go wrong, no matter the kind or flavor.

Yeah, other seasonal visitors will tell you, "So and so has donuts, too, and I think they're better." Respectfully acknowledge this person's opinion and then never speak to them again. There is no more delicious donut in the Valley.
