Be careful dealing with these people. They sold me a dink cull heifer that was basically starved from birth. When I arrived to pick the heifer up, she was tangled in a rope that was tied to a tree. She had a bad rope burn and was covered with flies. I felt so bad for her. The heifer I purchased from them never even grew to the size of a mini cow. The swell lady at Light Root Farm lied about her age to cover up their neglect and bad genes. The heifer became pregnant and ended up losing the calf. As of now, the heifer has chronic mastitis.

I ended up have having to sell the heifer to a lady that deals with smaller livestock because the heifer was getting picked on and pushed around. She not was safe here with me because my cattle are much bigger and healthier.

Please be aware any cow that is for sale by the lovely people at Light Root Farm will be a cull animal. An animal that they don’t want or has been used up by them. Please know, they don’t want to sell their rejects to educated consumers because they know what they are doing is wrong and Sleazy.

Light Root Farm does not feed their cows a sufficient diet. They only feed substandard grass and weeds and this lack of nutrients is what is causing all their problems. The animals are weak and their milk is inconsistent and low quality.

The response I received from Light Root Farm was for them to call me a cattle flipper because I had to sell the genetic defect that they sold me. The truth is they just got caught doing dirt and don’t want to be held accountable. In short, they will lie directly to your face and take your money!

As of now, they have stopped giving the name of their dairy in all their advertisements. They are looking for suckers and people new to the game of milking and milk cows.

Be very Wary of these people!

The best milk I've ever drank. Daphne stewards a wonderful herd of cows. We have had a weekly milkshare for two years. Delicious for drinking. We also make yogurt with it. It tastes like the best high end European fancy yogurt you've ever eaten.

This awesome farm with its HIGHEST quality of milk and other products is truly a gift from God!!! I have been testing the Life Energy based on the Bovis scale for 20 yrs. and have NEVER found anything (fresh or supplements) as high as these products! They are absolutely delicious and highly nutritious!!! We're sooo grateful to Cameron and Daphne for working so hard to provide the very best food for us, the way God had created it in order to keep us healthy!!!

Light Root Community farm is an organic and biodynamic farm where you can get raw milk, eggs, and fall vegetable shares. They also carry organic maple syrup. The people are friendly and they take care of their animals very well. You can pay via Venmo, check or cash. They have a convenient 2 day pickup window to get your shares. I recommend this farm!

Love this place! You can see lots of farm animals! The milk and cream are delicious! The eggs are delicious! They do most of their farm work with draft horses! It is the kind of farm everyone want you to think of when you picture one! But I find there aren't many that actually exist. The animals are treated with love! And are pasture raised all year round! Love this place ❤️
