The Colorado Farm Brewery is an incredible place. The background story is so familiar to many when growing up in the family farm business. The owners of the Brewery had one those moments on how survive in the San Louis Valley and not sell the farm that go back generations of families that date back to the 1800s

They took a chance and turn the farm into an amazing Brewery.
We are so fortunate that they took a leap with beer. Their beer range from IPA’s Stouts, farmhaus potter and a few others.
I first came to the brewery 2 year ago. Back then is was one building and now they have grown and build the
beer yard, which is amazing during the warm season with plenty of sitting. A place space for the children. As soon the cold weather moves into the valley they are well prepare with individual fireplaces, overhead heating. Last but not least the amazing views of the mountains during the day is unbelievable.
As soon as the sun goes down the location is a wonderful for start gazing. Stop by on Thursday-Saturday and check out what’s on tap.

Is there a better place on planet earth than the simply, if not aptly, named Colorado Farm Brewery? No, this place was First Rate. Was the popcorn provided gratis? Yes. Were bottles of water free...and numerous? Also yes. Were the peanuts complimentary? You bet. Was the ambient environment idyllic? Yup! Overly accommodating and friendly staff? Oh, sure. Heck, even the restrooms were clean. I could go on-and-on but needless to say, this brewery attracts the kind of people that belong at it (hence the reviews) and is emblematic of the ideal that if you attend to every possible detail with care and consideration and offer a fantastic product, people will willfully inconvenience themselves to frequent your establishment. The CFB does everything right and it is truly as simple as that.
A part of me is morbidly curious how long The CFB can, "shoot the moon," of consecutive 5-star reviews. If ever there is a non 5-star review, that review will be more of a reflection of the person writing the review and their obvious corrupted, broken soul and dislike of fun than the heavenly CFB. I will be back...and so should everybody else that should frequent The CFB. You know who you are.
For the record, our key to success that day was a morning at Great Sand Dunes National Park, a stop at My Brother's Place in Alamosa for a pizza which we then took to The Farm and ate it while drinking our beer(s). If life were a game, we won that Saturday and in the process, cracked-the-code to limitless human happiness. Thanks CFB!

Great beer. Great story. The owners of the brewery also own and operate their own malting company out of the farm that the brewery sits on. They grow, harvest and malt grain for other Colorado breweries, distilleries as well as their own beer!

When you grab a seat in the tasting room at the brewery, you will be drinking beer made with water from below your feet, grain grown in the fields around you, and then malted in the malting room behind the brewery.

This is a one of a kind beer experience, not only for Colorado, but the entire beer world.

This will be a staple in our visits to the valley... Delicious made in house brats grilled outside and the beer is so refreshing! The owner and grill master bath made us feel more than welcome!

Coolest brewery I’ve been to. Great owners, great beer, great vibe — sat around a firepit for hours chatting with fun folks who had some great stories. If I make it out to Colorado again, this place will definitely be on my destination list.
