This is the best treatment by a shipper I have ever had as a driver

I have loaded with Searing Industries for years, usually the Cheyenne location.

Here in Rancho I've loaded maybe 10 times, and it's usually end of business.

Today I discovered that when the roach coach comes and the crews go on break that the food truck people are given $8.00 for the drivers food and I don't even have to ask. I was told by several employees and thought no I'll pay anyways. But the cashier didn't let me pay.

Friendly stuff, but for a very long time they load and collect your load. Prepare logs for pipe support, they have a very bad lining tree, and most likely they will tell you tarping. Loading takes about 1.5 hours. Entry from the East 9th Street, exit there.

Every time I arrive here it’s a minimum of 4 hours before you leave. Currently the only one here to get loaded and I’m STILL here, waiting to get loaded, arrived at 11:20am it’s currently 4:24 and I’m halfway from getting finished. Get ready to say goodbye to any early driving when you arrive here.

This is the second time for me at this junk yard, the first time was OK but today was a mess even know people are friendly but i have no idea why it took forever to load us.
There's enough people with enough equipment but they are very very very slow.
By the way, there's NO single reason to give your local drivers the priority and you ignore the rest of us.
Don't you know we have a limited hours of service ?
Don't you know there's NOT enough truck stops in the area ?
Where should i park after you kept me here for almost 4 hours ?
1 star is too much, it should be 0000000

my business has been a searing customer for 25+ years. not sure how anyone that's a large steel buyer or "core" account could say anything very negative about Searing Industries. they have one of the highest quality products, large inventory and good people. there's not much more you can ask for in the steel industry. i've bought millions from them and have never made a claim. i hope this puts some of the negative reviews into perspective.

This place takes forever to load truck .if possible stay away from this place also contact broker so they can pay for having trucks sitting around waiting as the truck driver hours run out .

Their material was very nice at one time but no longer. Now all their structural tubing that I use has large impressions from dirty rolls and the material is bowed from end to end. I had required my steel suppliers to carry Searing material only for me until the quality waned.
