great place for matcha and good coffee in a place where there is really not many options. Matcha is just okay but the coffee was so good. Loved that they had alternative milks. The inside was so cute too and the service was very friendly. A little pricey but still good.

I have been a long time patron here but today I had to downgrade my rating from 5 stars to two. The good: pleasant atmosphere in a beautiful setting.
The bad: RIP OFF! I Know times are tough when trying to make a profit but the prices have become outrageous. $4 for a 12 ounce drip w/ $1 refill. AND they charge you $1 for honey!!

If you want something affordable go to Cuppa Coffee or Bagel Works. Honey is free and so is your refill and the price is a normal $2.50-3.50.

I'd be happy to change my rating back to 5 stars if they wouldn't charge you for honey and refills but kept their current pricing as it's justified for the setting/environment. I also felt that the staff was not quite rude when I showed my disappointment about the honey charge but they were a little prissy about it. "We don't make the rules," she says and laughed at me as I walked out the door. That pisses me off.

A super cute little (and hidden) shop! Follow the wall along Derrick’s Cheese and keep going, you’ll find Pachamama! They have great coffee and non coffee options! They also don’t charge extra for alternative milks!

If you want to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, their outdoor courtyard is peaceful!

Love that they’re open early too.

This is an awesome quaint little place with a neat little outdoor courtyard. I've always loved their locations in Sacramento and this one is just as good. They really do espresso drinks right. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Love how they have it decorated and love how casual it is inside. This is a real gem of a place and probably my favorite coffee spot right now.

As a Placerville local, this spot is always a go-to as you can hang out in the courtyard and enjoy great coffee. My only complaint is that the muffins are usually not ready as the doors open to the public and they typically only make a couple batches. Maybe give the employees more time to prep before opening so everything is available to the early customer. Otherwise, it’s a great shop!

If you love good espresso from places like Blue Bottle, Verve, or Ritual, then this is the place to hit up in Placerville.

The people at Pachamama Coffee genuinely care about high quality roasts and know how to properly pull a shot. They know about the optimal temperature for pulling shots, and know not to burn the milk.
