Stopped in on the way to Tahoe looking for a brew after working up in Rescue. This spot of brews and bbq is amazing. Family owned and family working. The brews all in house are very good. They make their own dipping sauces and Kit knows all the spices and food.

The food tho is excellent. In house smoke. Their trisKIT and jalapeno poopers are some of the best I have had in a while. Pork belly rub is on point. They are having their one year mark and have different awards to prove it.

Recommended for sure.

If you're looking for exceptional beer and mouthwatering BBQ, this is the place to go. Their selection of dark beers and IPAs is top-notch—rich, bold, and perfectly crafted. The trisket and pork burnt ends? Simply amazing. Smoky, tender, and packed with flavor, they were among the best BBQ I've had in a long time.

As someone who lived in the South, I know my grits, and let me tell you, these were perfection. Creamy with just the right amount of salt, they rival the best Southern kitchens. I couldn't stop raving about them.

The service was excellent, too. The family that runs this place truly knows how to make you feel welcome and cared for. It's clear they put their heart and soul into everything they do.

I'm so impressed and can't wait to return soon. Whether you're a BBQ lover, a craft beer enthusiast, or just someone looking for a great meal, you won't regret visiting this spot!

After reading all the great reviews, I had high expectations. The beer was good. The staff was good. The atmosphere was good. There wasn't any wow factors. A pool table, darts, board games or live music would keep the customers there longer. All the beer I tried, tasted the same. The flavors need to be more pronounced. In fact, I overheard a conversation between the Brewer and a customer. The Brewer said he might as well serve orange juice, because that is all a Hazy IPA is. I'm sure several beer connoisseurs would disagree with this Brewer. This isn't a great date spot, because the alewerks is so quiet and there isn't anything to do to prolong the date.

Excellent beers! Food was yummy, got the chicken nachos. The sandwiches looked amazing! Mama was cooking. Friendly. Missing a little something as far as atmosphere goes. But we would definitely return!
