We arrived at peak dinner time yet were able to be seated quickly. It took a bit for a server to arrive but once our order was placed the food came out quickly and our server was very attentive. BBQ chicken and the salmon dinner were both really good. Clam chowder was one of the best I’ve had in a while. Definitely recommend stopping by if in the area. We also ordered the calamari as an appetizer, it was tender and delicious.

We had a great experience! Heather was our server and her and the 2 gentlemen at the front were so attentive to our needs. Service was fast and the food was affordable and delicious! I had a cup of chowder and the 4 piece fish and chips and it was the best I have ever had. My husband and son are not seafood eaters so they had the bacon western cheeseburger and they were very happy! Would definitely recommend this place!

It is located 3 blocks from the pier. Street parking in front is limited. Handicap parking and access are available. We drove around several times and finally found parking 2 blocks away. The closer paid parking was full. This establishment is 70 years old. We were greeted at the door and seated right away. The interior is like a diner kind of plain. There is outside patio seating. The restrooms are located in back of the patio. Our booth seating was comfortable. Our server was very nice, informative and attentive. Husband ordered the seasoned grilled cod which was good. I ordered the clam chowder bowl and half a tuna sandwich senior combo. The clam chouder was kind of watery, salty, skimpy on the clams and heavy on the potatoes. The tuna salad sandwich was better.

Brad’s Restaurant in Pismo Beach is a true gem for seafood lovers, and my recent visit was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I walked in, the friendly atmosphere and the coastal charm of the place set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

Let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! The fish and chips were perfectly cooked, with a golden, crispy batter encasing tender and flaky fish. Each bite was a delightful balance of texture and flavor, making it easily some of the best I’ve ever had.

Then came the clam chowder bread bowl, which truly stole the show. The chowder was rich, creamy, and packed with tender clams, all served in a freshly baked sourdough bread bowl that was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s a must-try dish that embodies comfort and coastal freshness.

The service was impeccable, with the staff ensuring every need was met with a smile. Whether you’re a local or visiting the Central Coast, Brad’s Restaurant is a culinary destination that should not be missed.

If you’re craving seafood with a side of exceptional hospitality, Brad’s is the place to be. Five stars all the way!

Came here for a quick lunch, of course everywhere was busy and had lines. I walked in and asked the kind lady at the front if there was a long wait. She said sit right down as the table next to us was cleaned. Went outside and got my partner from the splash Cafe line and we're blown away at the service, food, and hospitality. This place was just as busy but they treated everyone very kindly, offered exceptional services, and food was spot on. Nick was our server and greeted us with a smile every time we needed something. This is a warm friendly great place! I would say skip on everything else and come here. They were all great!

My friend and I ate here yesterday while spending the day at Pismo.
We had Cod, fried shrimp, fried crab and clam chowder. The fish was made to perfection and the homemade tarter sauce was great! Shrimps we’re cooked on point , and chowder was amazing!
Prices were reasonable and staff were friendly with zero wait time.

Great location a block away from the beach and pier. The service was good as well. But the food was just OK. Clam strips were good, clam chowder was OK. The French Dip was bland. I would try it again but I would try something else.
