So fun! Loved the whole experience of watching our drinks being made. The secret menu has some amazing drinks that were flavored perfectly - especially loved the chocolate covered pretzel latte and the brûlée cappuccino.

Super friendly with lots of delicious lattes! I’m not a huge coffee person, but I love my cinnamon latte. My SO who’s the bigger coffee drinker also loves his crème brûlée latte. Such a sweet spot to check out during our way home.

Very cool and inviting concept of a specialty espresso card in a surf shop. Owner is friendly and makes excellent lattes! I got the latte with sage, and it was flavorful without being sweet or overpowering. Thank you for what you do 🙏 👏

Shawn is an absolute gem of a small business owner here on the Central Coast! I joined his monthly espresso shipment subscription shortly after moving to SLO in March ‘23 and it’s been something I look forward to every month since. His espresso beans he roasts are balanced and bold and fare extremely well with our barista express machine at home. His packaging + branding for Cacti is thoughtful and has CA meets TX vibes. His storefront itself is inside Esteem Surf Shop in Pismo Beach and is very eclectic + worth the visit when in town!

The coffee creations that Shawn serves up in Pismo Beach deserve a write up of their own. He handcrafts each drink for his customers in what’s an engaging and immersive experience. My wife and I have had the pleasure of having much of his revolving menu over the past few years. I’ve had drinks that were brûléed, ones with Mesquite wood chip smoke infused, and plenty others with fun twists such as brown sugar, Kerrygold butter, and lime. If you haven’t visited Shawn yet in his one of a kind coffee shop setup or taken a stab on a bag of his espresso beans, you should soon! You won’t regret it 🔥

Pretty amazing coffee. Don’t be put off by the coffee shop being inside the surf shop. I found it slightly unusual at first, as well. Loved the unique twist with brûlée-ing the top of my cappuccino. Can’t wait to try the espresso beans at home. Thanks again, Shawn, and we will see you next time.
