My favorite bread is protein and ca style! Makes the best French toast and open faced sand witches yummy! I buy it all fresh and freeze it to use as needed. The bagels, buns and everything else they make is superior products! Been sustained by these excellent bakers for decades now! Thanks! Keep up the good work!

I have been buying their bread since it was Captain Carrot Bread at Raleys.
In recent years Raleys has continually been out of Raisin Cinnamon bread & hamburger buns.
I started to buy at El Cerrito Natural Foods & then they were continually out.
I reached out hard to both & they didn't get it.
That's why I wrote to the company. NO ANSWER!
Now my wife makes our bread. I still need the buns. I was able to get them for the first time in 18 months at El Cerrito Natural.

The new soft bread with all due respect, really sucks, your business is going to go way down If you keep that on the market. I got it from grocery outlet and I see you have it at whole foods Hope you don't mess with the trader Joe mix.

I really even give it one star it's thin is nasty is gooey I can't believe you guys think you're going to go somewhere with this I do understand that sometimes the bread feels hard on the outside and it has holes occasionally however it's still way worth the direction you've gone in. it was the best bread on the planet. If you have any questions you can contact me at my email williamgb66@yahoo

I’ve been buying their California style sprouted bread for years. This last loaf I bought seems like it is 30% less substantial than before and is too delicate. Now when I butter it after toasting it, the butter goes through and makes a soggy mess. (Forget French toast.) I can actually see through the bread like lace. It looks like they’re covering it up by calling it “now softer”. All I can see is they’ve cut back on its substance. I’m sad because this has been my favorite bread for so long, but it’s time for a divorce. Now I wish I (and lots of other people) had posted how much we loved it before and maybe they would not have made such a bad change.

Have bought the sprout bagels for years. Recently the recipe changed and the price went up. Ech! All that added flour! So soft and doughy they can't even be called bagels. The dough sticks to your teeth. They used to have texture - they were grainy and delicious plus great for a low gluten diet. Now it's just a scam . Were you bought out by the Philippines?

The bread has good taste, but there are 3 problems.
1. The thin slice bread is falling apart and many times there are holes
2. The wide Bread organic is not available anywhere online only
3. Ordering online you will end up paying over $10 per loaf, as the shipping is very expensive. Therefore it would be nice that Alvarado bakery would adjust the prices since the shipping is more expensive that its bread. They still would make more profit than selling to middle men, like vendors and local retail stores.

The sprouted flax is the best low-carb bread I've ever had. Since COVID it's hard to find locally, and I'm happy to pay $40.00 shipping to have it delivered. That's how much I like the product.
