Hiring Emily’s catering was the best thing we did for our wedding! She was responsive and helpful from the very beginning. She did multiple walk throughs with us at our venue and helped with recommendations for our menu selections. She gave up cost effective options that didn’t compromise on presentation. Her staff was on top of it the day of the event and it allowed me to be at ease and enjoy the wedding day. The food was not only delicious but presented really well too! We got so many comments from guests how great the food tasted! They packed up all left overs for us after the event and we were able to enjoy those the days after the wedding as well. I cannot recommend Emily and her team enough!

I was just thinking about getting cupcakes for Valentines for the crew and remembered about Emily's. It is high time I wrote this review. We ordered cupcakes last year (see pics) and they were amazing. Not only do I usually order their holiday cupcakes, but I have also picked up soups and breads and all kinds of other yummy goodies. However, the best thing I bought from Emily's was a special order German Chocolate Cake, it was a little pricey compared to other cake places... but the quality is just so good... it's totally worth it. Best German Chocolate cake Ev! (sorry G-ma) My grandma used to bake a German Chocolate cake for my B-Day and since she is now gone... Emily's is my new b-day cake baker.
Also, let us not forget the free lunches they handed out to so many youths during the beginning of the pandemic and all the community service they do. Emily's is a must when you visit GV.

Emily catered my wedding at the Harmony Ridge Lodge, and she was amazing. The food and cake/cupcakes were great and everything was completely seamless. She attended our venue walk through and planning meetings with my wedding coordinator. She has done many weddings at the lodge and even got married there herself. Because of this she was a huge help at the meetings and helped us come up with the location and flow of everything. Everything was amazing, I highly recommend Emily’s. Her holiday pop ups are also great, our wedding was the weekend after Mother’s Day so I ordered off her Mother’s Day pop up menu since things were pretty hectic. It was really convenient.

Emily's was referred to us as the top-tier wedding cake makers in Grass Valley, where we recently held our Star Trek / Lord of the Rings wedding.

Flavour is paramount and no other makers within 50 miles offered the lemon raspberry we were looking for. After several design iterations, we settled on a simple white frosting with gold rim.

It was as delicious as the tasting predicted - and there's a whole lot more in our fridge right now waiting to be finished off.

They delivered the cake invisibly as we were all busy setting up for our nuptials. We cut it with a sword - see the pictures.

We will always consider Emily's first when seeking out new cakes for future events!

These are the tastiest cupcakes I have EVER had. Every cupcake flavor was unique and each was masterfully decorated. Each one had a delicious surprise filling too!! I tried the espresso dusted chocolate cupcake, lemon bar cupcake, cinnamon roll cupcake, thin mint cupcake, irish cream cupcake, and the raspberry chocolate cupcake.

On top of the tasty treats, the owners Emily and John are the sweetest people! All they want is for people to be happy and eat cupcakes. I really appreciate their small business vibe and will fully support them for as long as I eat cupcakes, which will be forever. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EMILY'S!! <3

Emily catered my 100 person wedding and our friday rehearsal dinner. To say she did a fantastic job would be an understatement. Not only was the food amazing (At least 10 people told me that it was the best wedding food they've ever had), but Emily was also very professional, organized, calm, nice, and on it. She coordinated everything with the rental service, which was great, and came out to see our wedding venue ahead of time. The catering staff (servers and bartender) she brought for our reception dinner were lovely as well. Oh, and the cake and deserts! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Highly recommended.

My husband and I recently attended a wedding catered by Emily's. Was one of the best if not the best catered food we have ever eaten. From salads, to main course to desserts, just WOW! Everything was special, fresh, balanced, cooked and or prepared to perfection. Visually exquisite. Even better tasting. Every bite. Am planning on using Emily's for my future special events!
