I love find out farms. Matthew is super knowledgeable in all things related to plants and gardening and is always willing to share that knowledge. Every native plant I bought from him has thrived. The Community Fruit program is wonderful on many levels - it prevents food waste and distributes it to those who need it. Can't say enough positive things!

I had an awesome experience here with an organization that is doing wonderful work for the community! I just went this morning to get some seeds for plants locally native to Sacramento (the hands-down best ones to plant for helping out pollinators/wildlife/biodiversity and water conservation). The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about plants, and the seeds were definitely cheaper than I expected! I believe they do other great work aside from the native plants too.

Absolutely love this urban farm. They’re super friendly, AND they sell native plants (which aren’t always easy to find)! I’ve visited a couple of times and had universally great experiences. The owners are knowledgeable about growing a wide variety of plants and can even advise on how to convert a lawn to native plants. Plus they have cute chickens and ducks! Check them out!

Find Out Farms is a wonderful place run by the sweetest and most knowledgeable people. They care about making native and vegetable gardening more accessible to everyone by not only providing consulting and hands on education, but also by making the plants themselves available locally for amazingly affordable prices. They always welcome my frequent questions and are super generous with their seeds and community fruit program! Check out their open hours on Saturday mornings! I’ve already been telling everyone who will listen to go visit them, but now it’s time to tell the entire internet - Find Out Farms is building a better community and I highly recommend checking them out, supporting their cause, and getting involved any way you can!!

What a treasure! find out farms is a terrific local provider of native plants, as well as a valuable community resource for information about growing healthy food and composting. Everything about Find Out Farms deserves five stars. They worked with my tiny little yard to remove invasive plants and create a native plant oasis. They provided a layout and plant guide with information on each plant and how it will grow, as well as its watering needs - which are very little! They are tied into a community of plant enthusiasts and are generous with resources and information. They are cost-conscious and wonderful to work with. And that doesn't event get into the fruit collection and distribution they do!
