Amazing food. The mole chilaquiles were so so good. I forgot to take a picture before I dug in. That's how good it was. Came back the next day for mole enchiladas.

We cannot recommend Cocina Oaxaquena enough!!! We ordered the huevos a la Mexicana with asada and two al pastor tacos, and let me just say - these were the best al pastors we’ve had in over four years! Having lived in DC and Seattle, we’ve missed the authentic Mexican food from South Texas, and this was not only as good but maybe even better than what we remember from back home.

On top of the incredible food, their espresso and drip coffee were absolutely perfect. They even gave us horchata with both - and let me tell you, the dirty horchata was hands down the best I’ve ever had. We’re still thinking about it!

To finish off, we had their chocolate flan, which was out of this world. It was the perfect end to such an amazing meal. We are so happy we stopped here on our Redwoods road trip and can’t rave enough about the experience. Thank y’all so much for such delicious food and kind service!

Holy mole! If you want some of the best Torta's you've ever had in a bright and friendly atmosphere with super sweet staff you're in luck. Each torta is a perfectly crafted sandwich with just the right balance of sauce, meat, and fresh crispy veggies on a lightly toasted bun. Truly incredible, you won't be disappointed!

One of my favorite Mexican Restaurants in Eureka. Small dining area with casual atmosphere. I haven't managed to get past the breakfast menu because the chilaquiles are so good. The coffee probably deserves its own separate review. I especially like the clay jarritos it is served in.

Place serves authentic Mexican food and is delicious. Visiting from Southern California
and having a plethora of Mexican restaurants down there this place is absolutely authentic Mexican food .
The tlayuda is absolutely delicious!
Definitely coming back here when visiting

The homemade tortillas are EVERYTHING at this place. Order the Quesadilla Oaxaqueña with carne asada and prepare to have a happy tummy. The people who run this restaurant are sweet and I’ve never had to wait more than like 10 minutes for great food. If you like it spicy, tell the owner you want their hot salsa! The salsa verde is mild and has a delicious tangy tomatillo flavor while the salsa roja will leave your tongue burning!

Sat at one of a few tables in a compact dining room shared with a counter and kitchen area. Service was friendly and immediate and food was served relatively quick on ceramic. We had mole and quesadilla no meat with horchata and lemonade. Two other tables were seated and two to go orders were picked up while we ate. The mole was excellent, the rice and beans good, green sauce great, red sauce powder based and very hot. Salad garnish and veggies we're very fresh. I go back for the mole.
