Food was pretty good but way overpriced, but that could simply be due to the area. It’s about 15-20min from Denali NP, has a great outdoor space (fire pit, darts, etc) and a large indoor space. However, no AC indoors which was quite uncomfortable to eat in especially after a long day of hiking. Ordered the halibut with fries and added 1 extra fish for $34, they weren’t very big and a bit dry. I’ve had fish and chips in NYC and it isn’t even this expensive. Also ordered yak burger ($34) which was good but the pretzel bread was hard and dry as well, not a fan.

Our server was friendly and attentive.

Great place, about 15 mins from Denali National Park Visitor center. The Yak and Elk burger were excellent. Just that the yak burger has an overload of onions, pickles and cheese that they all overpower the taste from the meat. I would order those extras as side order to enjoy the yak meat. Great selection of beers, great ambience and courteous staff:

A server didn't come to our table for over 15 minutes. All 4 of us had silverware that was dirty and some were sticky as if it wasn't washed. The side plates were greasy. This is not what I've experienced at either location in the past. The meatloaf was very dry, minimal fries with the burger. The salad was just ok. I've worked in Alaska for 4 summers and enjoy going when I can and would recommend. After this visit I'm not sure I would go again.
On a good note, I love the craft sodas, they are delicious. The Endless Summer is my favorite.

Good vibe, warm service and great food. The 49th state brewing Denali park can be the perfect option after a long day tour.
I love the jalapeño bacon wrapped appetizer and fried calamari. The pretzel is stunning, match the seafood chowder perfectly.
All the burgers and tacos are amazing.

I wasn't expecting much when I walked in, but WOW! I was surprised!!

I had the fish and chips - halibut. It was THE best fish and chips I've had in a LONG time! Seriously, WOW!

Follow that with an amazing blueberry pie ala mode in a relatively quiet, very family friendly place and you have a great experience.

Whole heartedly recommend eating here.

My Boyfriend and I were in Denali for a week to celebrate my birthday and ended up checking this place out for some post hike food and beers. The menu is fabulous with something different for everyone and the beer selection was awesome. Our server was Marissa and she was super kind and helpful with recommendations from the extensive beer list and gave us some great advice on what to try. They also have fire pits and games outside if you are just looking to hang out. All and all it was one of the best places we ate on our trip and will definitely return.

Fantastic experience! We came for lunch before going into Denali NP and I’m so glad we went that little bit further! It’s a really cool spot, big but not loud, lots of people but staff didn’t seem stressed. They sat us at a big bar surrounding a fire, which was perfect as we had just come in out of the rain. Others were also at the bar, but it’s big enough that we couldn’t hear them (well, until one started making loud noises from her phone as though she wasn’t in public, but if your bar mates have any public training whatsoever, you won’t feel like you’re stuck listening to others’ conversations)

Our server was Nora, and she was delightful!! So helpful and personable! I got the blackened salmon BLT and it was incredible- get the fry sauce! My husband got the elk burger and it was delicious too! We shared the Smoked Maple Dopplebock and a flight as well. Would absolutely come back!

A great “find” deep in the heart of Alaska. Came highly recommended by one of the waitstaff at a restaurant in Denali. Huge selection of draft beers highlighting Alaskan beers and drafts. The King Crabby Grilled Cheese is the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had. I came with as side of seafood chowder (amazing on its own!) and a sode choice of house salad, French fries or tater tots. The French fries are well seasoned that came with their in house made BBQ sauce. The Yak burger is lean and well seasoned. We ordered it medium rare (I think otherwise it will be too dry). The ambience is lively. Lots of activities for the entire family at the courtyard. The restaurant is decorated well, but (like most establishments in Alaska) lacks AC and ventilation. Although we would hv hanged out at the inside bar (which has an array of draft beers and serves cocktails), we chose to sit outside because it was too stuffy inside. The outside bar has limited draft beers and doesn’t serve cocktails (you hv to go inside to order them), but serves from the menu. I highly recommend this place esp if you are in Denali, and most especially there’s not many people who come to Alaska for breweries ?.
