Stopped by first time on a weekend. Beers were great and the food slapped. I asked to split a sandwich with my partner and they did it for us, so nice. There were way more fries before the pic. I crushed them HARD because everything was tasty. Bartender Katy was amazing!

Arrived at Grass Valley in the late night and this place was still open. Good to try the local brewery. They offer pizzas out of a wood fired oven. I tried Asian wraps and they were great.

Stopped in for a late night meal and drink and we were not disappointed! Staff was super friendly, food was amazing and of course great beer! Can't speak to amenities inside as the weather was perfect to eat outdoors. Some of the best fries I've had and look forward to coming back again!

We enjoyed our snack last night. My hubby had Loaded Fries and I had Bratwurst with Homemade Sauerkraut. Both were delicious. My hubby also enjoyed a beer and they had Lemonade for me. This will become a regular stop for us when traveling.

A little above decent overall. Not a fan of the batter used on the appetizers. Some things are just better when simpler. Less heavy batter is better. Just my 2 cents. Beer and wings were good

Stopped by here for a late night dinner with family, wasn't sure what to expect because of the limited pictures on Google, but was happily surprised with the food and beer selection. The pizza, grilled cheese with a patty, fries and chicken tenders did not disappoint and the karaoke was great! Would definitely come by here again if I'm ever in the area.

Admittedly, we haven’t been to this establishment for some time, due to the dog problem, but we were very surprised that they had changed their fries. Used to be the best fries we have ever tasted, but last night they served a basket of small shoestring fries. Nothing at all like the ones they used to have. Likely, won’t be back.

1849 is an amazing place to spend the evening. There's nothing like a delicious meal and great beer. I enjoyed their blends of beer. The service was impeccable for the dinner rush. I didn't wait longer than 10 minutes for anything including my hamburger. I was really impressed by the service.
My favorite beer is called Gravity is Real. It's tasty and has a hint of chocolate. I like it because it's strong and is really good.
For food we saw a lot of scrumptious pizzas so we ordered one of our own.
I ordered the 1849er burger and absolutely loved it! It was juicy and plump, it had everything on it. A member in my group ordered wings that were seriously some of the best I've had.
For beer I tried a lot of stuff and it all was awesome. One of the owner's favorites recommended to me was the Veinna Lagger. Awesome blend, nice and rich. I meant the creator of it while drinking and she was nice. Another favorite was the hazel.
The whole place was covered in entertainment, games, pool, live music.
I would recommend this place for a lovely evening with friends or a date night.
Prices were great, very reasonable for high value food.
The establishment was very Covid safe. There's markers on the ground and social distancing rules in place. You can wear a mask if you'd like. Groups are allowed to sit next to each other but have to be 6 feet away from other groups.
I had yummy leftovers to bring home!
